Publisher: American Association of Law Libraries
As the official magazine of the American Association of Law Libraries, the
AALL Spectrum is a 32-page monthly magazine dedicated to providing
informative and engaging articles of interest to AALL members, law
librarians and other legal information professionals.
The magazine informs readers about the ever-changing, multifaceted world of
law libraries. Feature articles and opinion pieces cover issues that affect
legal information and law librarianship, such as licensing digital content,
legislation and the importance of public relations. The magazine also keeps
members apprised of association events and activities.
AALL Spectrum presents an editorial mix of trend or feature stories, news
briefs, regular columns, and opinion pieces about issues that affect legal
information and law librarianship as well as association events and
activities. Articles should provide unique perspectives or ideas that
specifically address the needs and concerns of its readers.
Content is provided by volunteer authors in the form of substantive
articles, interviews, symposia, etc., and by volunteer editors who compile
and produce regular columns about the association, its chapters and its
special interest sections.
