Cahiers de linguistique française

http://clf.unige.ch/

Publisher: l'Unité de linguistique française du Département de linguistique
de l'Université de Genève

The Cahiers de linguistique française have the role of:

1. to emphasize research in French linguistics, in particular those of the
collaborators of l'Unité de linguistique française, like those in
linguistics of the Département de linguistique;
2. to allow to the young researchers of the Département de linguistique de
l'Université de Genève to publish their research;
3. to allow the publication of the proceedings of conferences of the
Department, in particular the series of the Colloques de Pragmatique;
4. to allow contributions within the framework of institutional research and
international collaboration, research projects;
5. to give free access on ? line ? of the articles of the former numbers of
the Cahiers de linguistique française.

The Cahiers de linguistique française is a review of French linguistics, and
the language of the publication is mainly French. It will publish also
contributions in English, in particular when the contributions do not relate
directly to French. As far as possible, it will seek to publish important
French contributions, for example of the translations in French of
fundamental articles in linguistics and French linguistics.

The Cahiers de linguistique française is not a review limiting a priori the
fields of publication in linguistics and French linguistics. It will however
concentrate its publications on major components of linguistics, in
particular syntax, semantics, and analysis of speech. It will contribute
also to current fields of research in linguistics (origin and evolution of
the language, language and cognition, theory of the spirit, human and animal
communication, etc).
