"Software Tech News" is a publication of the DoD Data & Analysis Center 
for Software (DACS).  The DACS is the DoD Software Information 
Clearinghouse and is sponsored by the Defense Technical Information 
Center's (DTIC) Information Analysis Center (IAC) Program.  Back issues of 
the newsletter can be found at http://dacs.dtic.mil/awareness/newsletters/listing/shtml.  
The newsletter is published in both paper and electronic form four times 
each year.  It reaches an audience of US DoD, commercial, university, and 
non-US software researchers and practitioners.

The DACS serves as a gateway to software technology information by 
providing access to WWW resources, publishing technical reports, 
presenting courses, hosting seminars, publishing a current awareness 
newsletter, and performing special studies for patrons of the Center.  The 
DACS WWW Site, http://www.dacs.dtic.mil, provides current software 
technology information and links to related resources.
