Publisher: MIT Press
New to the MIT Press, Daedalus was founded in 1955 as the journal of the
American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Drawing on some of America's
foremost scholars and writers, and tackling some of the key issues of
our time -- international justice, intellectual property, the meaning of
race -- Daedalus covers the latest controversies and developments in
fields from physics and neurobiology to economics, philosophy, and
literature.
Besides a core of essays on a single theme, each issue of the recently
redesigned journal includes fiction, poetry, and a variety of shorter
essays, interviews, and comments on trends in the arts and sciences.
