Gastroenterology Research and Practice is a peer-reviewed open access
journal that publishes state of art reviews and original research papers of
wide interest in all fields of gastroenterology and hepatology. In addition,
the journal aims to publish clips of videos from endoscopic procedures to
illustrate practical techniques.

The journal will publish articles related to basic science relevant to
gastroenterology including immunology, molecular biology and genetics. The
journal will also publish clinical articles including clinical trials,
epidemiology, therapeutics and biomarkers.

Gastroenterology Research and Practice publishes two types of issues:
regular issues and special issues. Regular issues publish unsolicited
submissions. Special issues feature targeted topics of interest contributed
by authors responding to a particular Call for Papers or by invitation,
edited by invited Guest Editor(s).
