The Journal's Aim

Thorough coverage of the complex processes which underlie the hemostatic
mechanism is given in this journal. Original papers report the latest
findings on the pathology, physiology and biochemistry of hemorrhagic
disease and thrombosis. In addition to in-depth studies of such topics as
blood coagulation factors and fibrinolysis, readers will find extensive
data on heparin and oral anticoagulation. ‘Haemostasis’ also provides
practical information on the diagnosis and treatment of bleeding disorders
and on fibrinolytic treatment. These experimental and clinical
investigations are supported by occasional authoritative reviews to make
the journal a full record of current research and its clinical
implications.
