Harvard Theological Review has been a central forum for scholars of religion
since its founding in 1908. It continues to publish compelling original
research that contributes to the development of scholarly understanding and
interpretation in a variety of interdisciplinary fields includiing: Hebrew
Bible, New Testament studies, early Christianity, Judaic studies, history of
religions, theology, religion in America, ethics, and philosophy of
religion. The January 2001 issue will be devoted to the publication of John
H. Kroll's complete catalogue and commentary of the entire Sardis Synagogue
corpus, including many photographs and illustrations never before published.
