The hamburg review of social sciences (hrss) is an electronic journal that
enhances the opportunity for young as well as established academics to
publish their research results in social sciences with comparatively little
delay. Submitted articles are reviewed by one established scholar and one
young academic working in the respective field and, if accepted, published
in the next available issue.

hrss is an interdisciplinary journal and open to a wide variety of topics
mainly from sociology and political science. Other disciplines, however, are
warmly welcome to join the interdisciplinary approach.

hrss invites papers on topics within in the broad field of social sciences.
Papers in either English or German conforming to general standards of
academic writing are accepted.
