Kamehameha Schools Press in association with the University of Hawai‘i 
Press, this unique new resource aims to enhance the use and 
understanding of the Hawaiian language by publishing archival Hawaiian 
language materials. These include the Hawaiian Ethnological Notes from 
Bishop Museum compiled by Mary Puku‘i; government documents; Hawaiian-
language newspapers; and cultural materials such as selected mele 
(songs and chants).
