Kemija u industriji (Chemistry in industry) is monthly journal which is 
being edited already for 50 years continually and from very beginning it 
is a journal of chemists and chemical engineers. It is official journal 
of Croatian Society of Chemists and Engineers and of Croatian Chemical 
Society. It is edited by Croatian Society of Chemists and Engineers.

The journal was founded in 1952 following the previous bulletin "Pregled 
tehnic(ke literature i dokumentacije" (Technical Literature and 
Documentation Review) from 1951 which became a part of the journal, 
under the same heading.

The journal publishes scientific and professional papers, opinions, 
commentaries, reviews and information from practice (for details see 
Instruction for authors), and contributions under permanent or 
periodical headings, for example: Industrial and Market News, From Our 
Libraries, Environment Protection, News and Notes, Technological 
Notices, Calendar of Events (Congresses, Symposiums, Exhibitions), Book 
Reviews, Literature Service, Inflamable, Toxic and Reactive Chemicals, 
Development of Chemical Industry, Chemical Education, etc.

The journal provides an international forum for the presentation of 
original papers, reviews and discussions on the latest developments in 
chemical and biochemical engineering. The scope of the journal is wide 
and no limitation except relevance to chemical and biochemical 
engineering is placed regarding the subject matter of papers. The 
criteria for the acceptance of papers are originality, quality of work 
and clarity of style. All papers will be evaluated by editors and referees.
