 This international electronic journal of medical science and practice
 provides some full-text articles excerpted from the hardcopy version. Each
 issue provides an average of two to four orginal, full-text articles as well
 as highlights from that week's journal, an editorial, a commentary, an early
 report, a case report, a viewpoint column, essays, a poem, news, and a
 letters to the editor column. Some titles of past articles published online
 include: "Influence of fathers' social class on cardiovascular disease in
 middle-aged men",  "Fetal growth and coronary heart disease in South India",
 and "Schistosomiasis in Lake Malawi".
 
 Also available on this site are back issues, starting June '96, classifieds,
 a search capability and links to related sites on the world wide web.
 
 To view the online version requires registration, but is free of charge. 
 Personal annual subscription to the hardcopy version is L95(UK), $115(US),
 $137(Canada), and L115(Rest of the World). Special rates are available for
 students, institutions, and recent medical school graduates.  Published by
