The fundamental purpose of The Label newsletter is to
disseminate pesticide related information and encourage the
multiplier effect via Extension communication channels to
clientele. It is intended to serve as a source for subsequent
news releases by Extension co-workers. Topics related to
pesticides, pesticide education, water quality, pest control,
regulations, and more are included in the newsletter.

Another purpose of this newsletter is the maintenance of
open communication channels to University administration
and governmental representatives at state and federal levels.
