Medscape General Medicine (MedGenMed) is an electronic medical journal 
on Medscape (http://www.medscape.com), the premier interactive 
publication for medicine and healthcare on the World Wide Web. MedGenMed 
is a fully electronic, MEDLINE-indexed, primary-source, peer-reviewed, 
Web-based general medical journal. It is positioned in the same 
conceptual field as other international general medical journals whose 
full-time editors are members of the International Committee of Medical 
Journal Editors (ICMJE), also known as the Vancouver Group.
