The Journal of Religious & Theological Information is an essential resource
for bibliographers, librarians, and scholars interested in the literature of
religion and theology. Both international and pluralistic in scope, the
journal aims to be the primary journal in the field of theological
librarianship, bibliography, and information studies. A board of consulting
editors who have continuing involvement with religious and theological
information assist the editor in maintaining awareness of developments in
the fields covered.

The journal fills a gap in the literature of library and information
science. Because existing serial publications have more restricted editorial
policies and tend to address the immediate issues of various associations of
librarians responsible for religious or theological libraries, the Journal
of Religious & Theological Information complements these publications by its
more inclusive editorial scope.
