The first issue of the Journal of the New York Entomological Society was
published in March of 1893, and it is still in publication.

Authors deal with many aspects of entomology, but the theme is of a
systematic or taxonomic nature including biology and ecology. Editors have
occasionally arranged special editions in which specific themes were
followed and certain editions honored specific entomologists.
