AIMS AND SCOPE

Occupational Hygiene has been created in reponse to the growing need for
improvements in the management of health risks in the workplace. The
journal provides occupational hygienists and all other professionals with
an interest in this field with a medium for the publication of high
quality refereed papers dealing with the science of anticipation,
recognition, evaluation and control of occupational hazards (physical,
chemical and biological).

The journal provides a forum for researchers to exchange ideas to learn
and keep abreast of the most recent developments, to promote the topic of
occupational hygiene and to strengthen contacts and enhance communication
between occupational hygienists worldwide. Particular emphasis will be
placed on European research, focusing on the need to harmonize strategies
and methods in order to attain the highest degree of professionalism in
the risk management of occupational hazards.
