and research? Want to learn OCLC tricks to simplify your job? This journal
is for you. OCLC Systems & Services is intended for professionals,
educators, students, and researchers around the world to share and exchange
their ideas, applications, and research results concerning information
processing, management, and dissemination. The journal also focuses on
developments in OCLC system applications, services, and research. In
addition, a feature column follows the global development, impact, and
implementation of Dublin Core in an effort to promote effective Web resource
discovery. Other metadata standards such as TEI (Text Encoding Initiative),
EAD (Encoded Archival Description), SGML (Standard Generalized Markup
Language), and XML (eXtensible Markup Language) also fall within the scope
of this journal.
