outstanding articles originally published in other languages.

Research areas include:
      Anthropology and archaeology
      Geochemistry and geophysics
      Geochronology
      Geography
      Geomorphology
      Glaciology

Some articles appearing in the November 1996 issue of the Journal include:
'Influence of Changing Atmospheric Circulation on Precipitation
δ18O-Temperature Relations in Canada during the Holocene',
'Variability of Monsoon Climate in East Asia at the End of the Last
Glaciation', and 'Stable Isotope and Lithologic Evidence of Late-Glacial
and Holocene Oceanography of the Northwestern Pacific and Its Marginal
Seas'.
