Aims and Scope:

Section B of The Quarterly Journal of Experimental
Psychology is a leading international journal which
publishes in all areas of comparative and physiological
psychology. Papers of the highest standard are accepted
over a wide variety of topics. The general concerns of the
Journal are: how animals acquire and use knowledge of their
world the nature of such knowledge the relationship
between knowledge and behaviour the neural mechanisms
underlying psychological processes the relationship
between learning, motivational and cognitive processes in
non-human animals and comparable human processes and the
role of behaviour in ecology and evolution. The articles
listed below give an indication of the areas currently
covered by the Journal. Book reviews are a regular feature.
Although concentrating on the above areas, they also
discuss more general issues, including historical and
philosophical aspects of the subject.

The Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology, Section B
encourages and accepts papers from all over the world. In
doing so it maintains an international perspective on key
areas within comparative and physiological psychology.
