This periodical publication provides information on the main national 
accounts aggregates for all OECD Member countries which prepare 
national accounts on a quarterly basis (currently 22 Member countries) 
and on a selected number of aggregates for five groups of Member 
countries. Annual and quarterly data series are shown for the last 15 
years.

Most OECD Member countries now compile national accounts on a quarterly 
basis. The OECD Secretariat has made quarterly estimates of the main 
aggregates for the few countries not preparing such accounts in order 
to be able to publish quarterly aggregates for OECD-Total, NAFTA, OECD-
Europe, EU and the seven major countries of OECD (G7). The Czech 
Republic, Hungary, Korea and Poland however have not yet been included 
in the calculations. Data on the unified Germany is usually available 
starting with the third quarter 1990. Historical data on West Germany 
is provided until the fourth quarter of 1993 or 1994.
