Student JAMA is prepared by the student editors and JAMA staff and 
published from September through May. Student JAMA Online appears 
year-round and includes Student JAMA articles, artwork, and creative 
writing.

Student JAMA invites students to submit scholarly articles, visual art, 
and creative writing. Student JAMA is a section of JAMA published monthly 
from September to May and offers students the opportunity to publish for 
more than 400 000 readers. 

Submissions will be reviewed by the Student JAMA editors as well as JAMA 
editorial staff. All submissions except visual art must be previously 
unpublished work. Art and creative writing are accepted on a rolling basis. 

Online access is free.
