Ukrainian Journal of Physics is a general physical scientific edition of the
Department of Physics and Astronomy of the National Academy of Sciences of
Ukraine. The Journal is published since 1956. Prior to 1962, its periodicity
was 6 issues per year, and further it became 12 per year. Up to 1994, the
journal was published by the Publishing House "Naukova Dumka", Kyiv. From
1994 till now, it is published by Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical
Physics of the Nat. Acad. Sci. of Ukraine, Kyiv. This Journal is intended
for a wide circle of scientists, lecturers of high schools and universities,
post-graduates, students.

The journal includes original papers and reviews presenting new results of
experimental and theoretical studies in many fields of contemporary physics:
field theory and the theory of elementary particles, nuclear physics, plasma
physics, atomic physics, molecular physics, physics of condensed matter,
optics, radiophysics and electronics, etc. Readers can find bibliographic
information and scientific chronicle. For convenience, papers are grouped
into sections corresponding to the scientific directions mentioned above.

Papers are published in Ukrainian (with summaries in English and Russian),
in English (with summaries in Ukrainian and Russian, and in Russian (with
summaries in English and Ukrainian) for authors from countries of the former
Soviet Union).
