Water and Environment Journal is the Journal of the Chartered Institution of
Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM). Readership and authorship is
principally from environmental professionals or from those who have an
interest or involvement in environmental issues, both in the UK and
globally. The journal is widely read by professionals working in academia,
consultancies, Government, regulators, NGOs and the environmental industry.

Papers submitted to Water and Environment Journal should encompass the
principles of sustainable development as defined in the Bruntland Report
(World Commission on Environment and Development. Our Common Future, 1987).
