Steve Fernie is a Multimedia Specialist and Evening Supervisor at the Gelardin New Media Center, located in the Joseph Mark Lauinger Library on the main campus of Georgetown University.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervises the Gelardin New Media Center Service Desk
- Provides guidance in the use of multimedia software to the Georgetown community
- Manages media and streaming course reserve materials for the New Media Center
- Interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates student assistants
- Provides multimedia creation and design support to the Georgetown community
- Conducts one-on-one consultations, group workshops, and other specialized training on the design and production of multimedia projects
