Sewing machines are the backbone of any work with textiles. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the basics of operating the Maker Hub's sewing machines. This includes how to wind a bobbin, loading a bobbin, threading the machine, selecting materials and thread, and different stitch styles and their benefits. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will have all the skills necessary to set out on sewing projects of their own!
Note: Close-toed shoes must be worn in the Maker Hub. Please see the Maker Hub website for all Maker Hub rules.
