Sew a Tote Bag!!!

Sewing machines are the backbone of any textile project. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the basics of operating the Maker Hub's sewing machines while making a functional tote bag. This includes how to wind a bobbin, loading a bobbin, threading the machine, selecting materials and thread, and different stitch styles and their benefits. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will not only have a tote bag but also have all the skills necessary to set out on sewing projects of their own! Note: Close-toed shoes must be worn in the Maker Hub. Please see the Maker Hub Policies and Procedures webpage for all Maker Hub rules.
