Hardcover Bookbinding (1): Creating a Book Block

This is the first workshop of a 3-part series on hardcover bookbinding at the Maker Hub. During this workshop we’ll be talking through the process of creating hardcover books and work to create a book block. At the end of the session you’ll leave with a fully stitched book block which you can bring to the second workshop “All About Glue”. At the end of the full workshop series participants will have a full hardcover book made by hand. Note: Close-toed shoes must be worn in the Maker Hub. Please see the Maker Hub Policies and Procedures webpage for all Maker Hub rules.
