Hardcover Bookbinding (2): All About Glue

This is the second workshop of a 3-part series on hardcover bookbinding at the Maker Hub. During this workshop, we’ll be focusing on glue! We’ll spend time during this workshop talking about how and why we use glue in bookbinding, and from there we’ll start the process of creating a hardcover for your book block! At the end of the session you’ll leave with a completed hardcover, ready to be attached to your book block. If you come back for the third and final workshop, you will walk away with a full hardcover book made by hand. Note: Close-toed shoes must be worn in the Maker Hub. Please see the Maker Hub Policies and Procedures webpage for all Maker Hub rules.
