Georgetown book lovers have a new opportunity to meet other bibliophiles to discuss books and share diverse perspectives in an informal, no-pressure environment.
The Lattes and Lit Book Club is a partnership between Georgetown University Library and the Midnight Mug. The group will read novels and popular nonfiction, with the aim of sparking thought-provoking conversations and breaking down barriers across academic departments, roles, and generations. Members will have the opportunity to socialize, network, and share their ideas—all over free coffee or tea from the Midnight Mug. Members will also receive discounts on other goodies from the Mug during book club meetings.
Sign up for the club using this form, and recommend titles that you think would appeal to a wide range of Georgetown students, faculty, and staff. The first meeting of the Lattes and Lit Book Club will be held the last week of February. (A poll of dates and times for the February meeting will be sent in late January.)
