The Georgetown Voice is a student-run newsmagazine providing Georgetown University with news, commentary, arts, opinions, sports and other long-form journalism. A print edition comes out every two weeks and new digital articles are published daily. The first edition of the Voice came out March 4, 1969. Because the paper was formed by several breakaway editors of The Hoya who were dissatisfied by the paper's coverage of the Vietnam War and off-campus issues, frontpages often feature stories about student activism. More information about the Voice's history can be found within the 50th Anniversary issue (April 2019).
