John Brosnan, S.J., served for many years as the “official” photographer for the Maryland Province and as an ongoing consultant for Eastman Kodak. Brosnan’s images, which show his concentration on formal photographs of buildings, individuals, and groups, also include a variety of valuable informal recordings of many aspects of Jesuit communal life. Photos cover all areas of the Maryland province [from 1923-1950], and also include images of specific Jesuits of the Maryland province in other parts of the world.
