A CNC router is a computer-controlled cutting machine that uses a rotating cutting tool to remove material from a workpiece. It operates on three axes (X, Y, and Z) to precisely cut, carve, or shape various materials such as wood, plastic, foam, composites, and in our case also non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and brass. CNC routers are widely used in woodworking, cabinetry, sign making, prototyping, and manufacturing industries to create intricate designs and precise components with speed and accuracy.

Getting started with CNC machining can be intimidating as there are a lot of steps to set up a Fusion 360 job as well as run the machine.
