Wooden Clock Workshop (& Band Saw Certification)

Explore the art of woodworking in our hands-on workshop and create your own analog clock using the Maker Hub’s array of tools. This session will introduce you to fundamental woodworking techniques and equipment, including the band saw for precise cuts. In this workshop, you will:

  • Tool Familiarization: Learn how to use the band saw for cutting wood, along with measuring tools, hand saws, hand drills, and the drill press.
  • Woodworking Techniques: Gain skills in cutting, drilling, sanding, and finishing wood to create a custom analog clock.
  • Project Creation: Apply these techniques to craft your own unique clock, taking home a functional and handcrafted piece. 

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a solid foundation in woodworking and the confidence to tackle your own projects.
