Stop and take a minute to ground yourself in the moment.

Join the Repair Atelier at the MakerHub to mend, upcycle, and personalize your fabric garments with this hands-on, meditative activity. In this workshop, you will learn the traditional mending process of Sashiko and give new life to your hole-y or torn jackets, pants, bags, etc. If you want to learn how to repair and appreciate your possessions, this “no-wrong-answers” workshop is for you. Slow down and tune into the rhythm of this simple stitching technique with your community at the MakerHub.
No experience is required, and all materials will be provided. Bring your own fabric-based garments with holes or tears you wish to repair or personalize.

For all Maker Hub workshops, participants must wear closed-toed shoes in addition to following all other Maker Hub rules.
