Enjoy learning about the campus libraries by visiting several locations for a self-paced tour! 
The final list of tour locations will be available on this site by Friday, October 18 at noon.

Each stop on the tour will take approximately 10 minutes. VISIT THE LOCATIONS IN ANY ORDER.

RIGGS LIBRARY
Location: 3rd floor, Healy Hall
Georgetown’s main library from 1891-1970. Riggs is not normally open to visitors so take advantage of this special opportunity to see one of the country's few remaining Victorian cast iron libraries.

BIOETHICS LIBRARY
Location: 102 Healy Hall
A hidden refuge for research and study since 1899. Notice the mezzanine and the beautiful murals on the ceiling depicting the history of writing.

LAUINGER LIBRARY (history)
Location: Entrance of the Joseph Mark Lauinger Library
Learn about the history of the building, its architecture, and its namesake.

LAUINGER LIBRARY (services and resources)
Location: Lobby of the Joseph Mark Lauinger Library
Hear about the wide variety of resources available to everyone at Georgetown, from video cameras and Chromebooks to the Washington Post, New York Times,  and nearly 1000 databases. 

BOOTH FAMILY CENTER FOR SPECIAL COLLECTIONS
Location: 5th floor of Lauinger Library
Explore rare books, manuscripts, art, and archives that offer a glimpse into the intellectual legacies of the past.

Peruse Lauinger  Library’s exhibition areas which showcase the treasures in our collections and artworks created by Georgetown students.
