Join us in front of Lauinger Library (Lau!) from 1:00-3:00 pm during NSO on Tues., 8/27.
Learn about the Library and how we can help you get the most out of your time on the Hilltop.
- Meet Marino Workshop Author Omar El Akkad and get your copy of “What Strange Paradise” signed.
- Make your own buttons while learning about the creative tools in the Maker Hub.
- Spin the trivia wheel to win a prize and meet librarians who will demystify research guides, databases, interlibrary loan, and answer any other questions you may have about “How to Lau”.
- Explore the Library's collection of rare books, paintings and prints, manuscripts, photographs, book arts, and Georgetown University's records and history.
- Meet a few students who work in the Midnight Mug, a coffee shop located in the heart of Lau 2, to learn more about the application process and how you can get involved to serve the Lau community.
You can also learn about the DC Public Library, and how to join the Lattes & Lit Book Club and Student Library Council while you enjoy a popsicle to beat the summer heat!
