Wooden Toolbox Workshop (& Tool Certification!)

two students cutting a piece of wood with a hand saw

Come to the Maker Hub for an engaging hands-on workshop where you’ll craft your very own wooden toolbox! This workshop also counts as tool certifications for the band saw, miter saw, and drill press (the Maker Hub’s three most frequently used power tools), allowing you to independently use these tools moving forward. This workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike. In addition to the band saw, miter saw, and drill press, you’ll learn to use marking and measuring tools, hand drills, and understand the importance of wood glue and fasteners. By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with a functional toolbox and the skills to confidently use these tools on your own in future projects.

Note: Close-toed shoes must be worn in the Maker Hub. Please see the Maker Hub website for all Maker Hub rules.
