The Professor William Manger Collection on Inter-American Relations was established by his students in 1973. The fund is used for information resources on inter-American relations.
William Manger began his Georgetown University career as an undergraduate in the School of Foreign Service. He graduated in 1923 after receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Law in 1921. He went on to receive a Master's in Foreign Service in 1924 and a Ph.D. in 1926 (all from Georgetown). He later taught history at Georgetown and served as Assistant Secretary General of the Pan American Union and the Organization of American States. He was a charter member of the Library's Board of Trustees.
