The George H. O'Connor, Jr. Endowed Discretionary Fund was established with a $1 million trust by George H. O'Connor, C'40, in 1994. The fund supports the general needs of the Library.
O'Connor was a D.C. native with a distinguished career in government and business. He also gave the library papers, books, and other materials related to his father, a prominent businessman and lawyer, as well as a well-known performer who entertained every president from Grover Cleveland to Franklin D. Roosevelt.
