The Bernard and Nancy Picchi Book Endowment Fund was established in 1985 by Bernard F'71 and Nancy C'71Picchi. The fund is used for general library acquisitions.
In 1995, revenue from the fund was used to purchase microfilm and microfiche versions of otherwise-unobtainable rare books. Collections purchased included the "Eighteenth Century Catalog" from Research Publications, which includes nearly every book published in the United Kingdom and its colonies from 1701–1800; "Witchcraft in Europe and America," a set of more than 1000 rare books and pamphlets; and two series of primary sources on politics and church affairs in Tudor and Stuart England.
