Introduction to CAD & 3D Printing

Jump into the 3D world with an introduction to 3D printers! This workshop will cover 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) software available to students, how to use it, and a practical exercise on actually printing a 3D design. CAD is an amazingly useful tool in a designer's tool belt, especially when it comes to rapid prototyping.

Orientation will include basic 3D CAD software functions on TinkerCAD and Autodesk Fusion 360, covering additional open-source resources available to students to help with design and prints.
