Georgetown University Library and the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) are seeking proposals for the second round of the Digital Research and Innovation (DRI) program.
This program encourages experimentation with emerging technologies and fosters the development of innovative modes of inquiry, scholarship, and creative production.
Faculty from across the university may submit proposals for scholarly digital projects at all scales that engage in research, pedagogy, experiential learning, and innovation.
Accepted proposals will be supported by CNDLS and the library through expert staff consultation, project planning and development, and other types of support. The DRI team offers a range of support to faculty projects including web development; database design and development; course and syllabus design; pedagogical techniques; data management, analysis, and visualization; digital publishing; and more.
During the previous phase of the DRI program, the library and CNDLS supported nine projects that incorporated digital tools and methodologies to enhance faculty research and teaching.
The application period for this round of DRI project support closes on October 18th. More information about this program can be found on the DRI program page, and the DRI team may be contacted via email at driprojects@georgetown.edu.
