The Library's Digital Collections Selection Committee is now accepting your suggestions for which library collections to digitize. Collections may include text or manuscript documents, photographs, fine art, illustrations, sound recordings, video recordings, 3-D objects, and other types of materials from the Library’s general collections, the Booth Family Center for Special Collections, or the Woodstock Theological Library. Take a look at a few recent proposals that are now collections freely available in DigitalGeorgetown, our open access repository.
- Alliance for Progress Cartoon Book Program in Latin America
- Catholic Association for International Peace Pamphlets
- Georgetown College Journal
- Student Catalogs, Prospectuses, and Related Materials
You can also browse through all of our online digital and special collections.
If you would like to propose a collection for digitization, submit your proposal using the Proposal form . There are limitations on which collections can be digitized, as described in the Digital Collections Development Policy. Proposals are reviewed monthly by the Selection Committee, which will communicate the results.
Please note that digitization is a complex process and will take several months or longer to complete. Contact digitalscholarship@georgetown.edu if you have questions about our online collections or the submission process.
