Now that the spring semester is finished and you can relax a bit, are you looking for something other than a textbook or an article from an academic journal to read? Members of the Lattes and Lit Book Club have put together a list of their favorite books that you can find on display on the third floor of Lau and also online.
Lattes and Lit will meet virtually on Tuesday, June 21, from 7–8 p.m. The group will discuss Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link, and see the Lattes and Lit guide for information on finding a copy of the book.
The Lattes and Lit Book Club is a collaboration between the Midnight Mug and Georgetown University Library that aims to foster community by encouraging diverse perspectives and promote reading for pleasure. Previous titles are Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro and On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong.
