Bookstores as Vehicles for Activism

This project, entitled "Bookstores as Vehicles for Activism", was created as a final culmination of my journalism work during the course 'Media and Social Justice', taught by Professor Ann Oldenburg. Throughout this semester, I worked to document bookstores and the literary industry through personal interviews and broad research. This multimedia presentation includes six articles, multiple maps, audio files, and embedded websites. Utilizing the knowledge I gained from reporting and my own research, I was incredibly proud to write a final Op-Ed (included in the project) suggesting a grassroots solution to the lack of diverse literary representation.
