Due to criticism, the slates of black women’s lives were imprinted by Euro-American norms causing them to assimilate these Eurocentric beauty standards. As a result, society stimulated this idea that European beauty standards were the only valid beauty standards. This magazine explores these judgments and highlights the effects that European beauty standards have on black women today. This is a celebration of and a dedication to the black women who are struggling to accept their lovely locks of hair and who are failing to recognize their beauty.
