Due to criticism, the slates of black women’s lives were imprinted by Euro-American norms causing them to assimilate these Eurocentric beauty standards. As a result, society stimulated this idea that European beauty standards were the only valid beauty standards. This is a celebration of and a dedication to the black women who are struggling to accept their lovely locks of hair and who are failing to recognize their beauty.
