Inequity and the Inaccessibility of Higher Education

Created for the class "Media and Social Justice," this StoryMap takes a deep dive into underprivileged students in Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland. Even though the schools are highly ranked, there are still wide disparities in achievement, particularly in the realm of accessing higher education. This project both identifies the major issue plaguing underprivileged students in the county, as well as some of the solutions that have been developed to combat this issue.
