Soldering (and de-soldering) is a fundamental skill of hands-on electronics making. It involves using a hot soldering iron to melt a soft metal (solder) onto electric components and wires to stick them together to create circuits.
While soldering is an easy skill to learn, parts do get extremely hot and extreme care should be taking when handling the equipment.
