Community Quilt Workshop: Imagining Rivers Together

Join us for a hands-on workshop where creativity meets community! Together, we’ll collaborate on a large-scale quilt inspired by our local waterways, like the Potomac and Chesapeake watershed. Led by Maker Hub Resident Katherine Wijenaike-Bogle, this workshop celebrates the traditions of quilting while reflecting on the vital relationship between humans and rivers.

No prior sewing experience is required, and drop-ins are welcome! You don’t have to stay for the full duration—we just want enthusiastic participants to contribute to this beautiful project celebrating resilience, interdependence, and environmental stewardship.

Close-toed shoes are required in the Maker Hub. Please see the Maker Hub website for all rules.
