Georgetown’s 3rd Annual Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

The title "Wikipedia" is in the branded typography of the site. Below it the word "Edit-a-Thon" has each letter as if torn or cut from a magazine with different colors and fonts.

Join the Georgetown community to help close the gender gap on Wikipedia by increasing the representation of underrepresented groups — in both Wikipedia content and contributors — on topics such as women in politics, women in STEM, and women in the arts.

Did you know that:

No Wikipedia editing experience necessary to attend the Georgetown Edit-a-thon. There will be hands-on training provided by representatives from Wikimedia District of Columbia.

  • Bring your own laptop.
  • Snacks will be provided.
  • Raffle prizes throughout the event!

This Women’s History Month program will take place during Georgetown University’s Tech & Society Week. Co-sponsors include: Massive Data Institute, Georgetown University Women’s Center, and Georgetown University Library.
